SWITCHBACK

The Craft Autoworks Switchback is designed to be a highly capable off-road adventure van for up to a family of 4 with all the amenities needed for long term travel. The cornerstone of this 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter 144 Standard Roof 4×4 is the hybrid pop-top system using a hard shell roof top tent (RTT). By mounting the RTT to the roof with a passthrough from inside the van, you gain the ability to stand up inside the low roof Sprinter and enter the opened RTT from inside the van.

Our goal with the Switchback was to bridge the gap between the traditional Overland community of outfitted trucks/SUV’s and the custom conversion market of high roof sprinters which are less off-road capable and more expensive. The Switchback comes standard with everything needed to thrive in extended backcountry adventures with all your gear.
